SPS Capabilities

Sireci Psychometric Services, Inc. (SPS) is a network of Ph.D.-level psychometricians, educational researchers, and technology specialists that provides a wide variety of services to testing agencies; state and national departments of educations, research institutions, professional associations, and other individuals and organizations. Established in 1989 and incorporated in 2006, SPS has conducted several formative audits of testing programs, and has provided services in the areas of test development, computer-based test design, test equating, item calibration, standard setting, conducting validity studies, and authoring technical manuals and other documentation for testing programs. SPS is led by Stephen G. Sireci, Ph.D. who assembles teams of psychometricians and researchers to best serve the needs of the services needed by individual clients. All psychometric staff have doctorates in measurement or related fields and have extensive experience in educational testing and successful completion of research studies. Currently, the SPS psychometric team includes Kyung T. Han, Craig S. Wells, Wendy Lam, Jennifer Randall, April L. Zenisky, Kim Colvin, and Drey Martone. Other psychometricians used in the past include Krista Breithaupt, Ron Hambleton, Lisa Keller, Thanos Patelis, Kevin Sweeney, and Andrew Wiley.
